The information sessions are designed to provide you with important information regarding your studies and your stay in Canada. We will present campus services and information on administrative tasks, services offered health insurance, security, and Canadian academic culture.
Please note that all international students must attend a mandatory orientation session. Choose the description below that best suits you to see which orientation you should attend.

I am a newly admitted, degree-seeking international student starting a bachelor’s program starting in January 2020.
Once your study permit application has been approved, you may register online.

I am a newly admitted, degree-seeking international student starting a master’s or doctoral program starting in January 2020.
Once your study permit application has been approved, you may register online.
I am spending one or two sessions at the University of Ottawa on an exchange starting in January 2020.
Registration is not required.
I will only be taking English as a Second Language (ESL) courses starting in September 2019.
You do not have to register to an information session. However, your participation in Integration Week is mandatory.
Undergraduate international students: You must also attend the Winter Orientation for all new students.
Graduate international students: You must also attend your faculty information session (if applicable) and the orientation offered by the Graduate Student Mentoring Centre.
Exchange students: You do not need to attend these sessions.
English Intensive Program (EIP) students: You do not need to attend these sessions.
