The University of Ottawa is founding member of CALDO, a consortium of Canada’s leading research universities. CALDO is committed to international education, develops strategic partnerships with foreign governments, sponsoring agencies and groups of universities in order to enable students and researchers from Latin America to gain privileged access to the wide range of programs and state of the art research facilities of its member universities.

DAAD – German Academic Exchange Service

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is a publicly-funded independent organization of higher education institutions in Germany. Each year DAAD provides information and financial support to over 67,000 highly-qualified students and faculty for international research and study. Located in New York, San Francisco, and Toronto, DAAD North America is here to advise students, faculty and current DAAD fellows in the US and Canada. The University of Ottawa sends students to Germany through their RISE and RISE-Pro programs, and also accepts German students through the RISE Worldwide initiative.

Ontario Universities International (OUI)

Through OUI the universities of Ontario maintain vibrant region-to-region partnerships with networks of universities in Jiangsu province (China), in the region of Rhône-Alpes (France), in the state of Baden-Württemberg (Germany), and in the states of Maharashtra and Goa (India).

Erasmus Mundus

The Erasmus Mundus programme aims to enhance quality in higher education through scholarships and academic co-operation between Europe and the rest of the world, and promotes dialogue and understanding between people and cultures through mobility and academic cooperation.

The Latinus Network is a network of Latin universities who want to promote cultural diversity within the Latin world with the final aim of opening themselves to the world.

The institutions commit themselves to develop common training and research projects.  They support as well inside mobility projects and open them to the world through each partner's networks. The University of Ottawa joined in 2008.

Consortium interuniversitaire pour la refondation du système éducatif haïtien (CIRSÉH)

The Consortium is composed of 10 Haitian universities and 8 universities in Quebec and Canada (French) and is in support of the Haitian Ministry of Education.
